Which cloud service to use for photos/videos etc?

I’m looking for a cloud service to back up all my photos and videos (a very daunting task!) and also some pdf type documents. Getting really confused with options! I tried Amazon as I have prune but there’s not enough storage for videos on there. Currys have their cloud service for £50 a year - has anyone used it and can recommend? Or any other clouds that would fit the bill? Thank you!

Dropbox is ok. I also use iCloud for photos and videos. Pretty cheap.

Do you have an apple or Google phone. Go with Apple or Google to make life easy.

I use SnapFish, though I haven't tried it for videos.

I have an iPhone and have cloud storage, but I need to upload photos from an external hard drive and am not sure how that works with iCloud storage?

Can you transfer them to a PC and install iCloud on the PC and upload from there? Must admit is confuses me
