TV's in bedrooms

When, if at all, did you put a TV in your children's bedroom
Dd1 is nearly 12 & wondering whether it might be worthwhile since she spends time on her tablet watching progs/youtube and a bigger screen might be better for her eyes.
I was always anti tvs in rooms - being alone etc but thinking might be a good birthday pressie.
Thoughts?

I wouldn't personally. I'm not anti screen at all and my DCs spend plenty of time on screens, but I try avoid screens in the bedroom so they can be places to switch off, rest, read, play, chat, and - most importantly - sleep.

That said, we haven't reached the preteen years yet...
