Parking fine dispute! Help with appeal.

DH has had a parking fine stating he was parked for 11 hours!

Wrong!

He popped onto said car park to help a friend jump start his car, he then went to work (has proof of clocking in etc). This was around 7am in the morning.

At around 5pm he picked up DS from the same car park!

So it’s never actually logged him leaving at 7am.

Anyone appealed anything similar?

The classic 'double dip'. They're looking at his first entry time and last exit time. Use this group on FB for help. Although depending on how long he was there in the morning to help jump start the car, it could be considered a parking session even though he didn't 'park'.
