Is there an easy way to transfer an audible book to kindle?

Listening to a book on the audible app which I purchased

I'd like to also read it but there doesn't seem to be a foolproof way to transfer it to my kindle

I've googled but no luck. Any advice please?

I don't think you automatically get the book version when you purchase the audio book. It's usually two separate things.

As far as I'm aware you buy the written word or you buy the spoken word.

If you want to transfer audible to kindle then you buy the kindle version.

Sometimes buying one version enables you to purchase the other at a good price - but not always.

Sometimes you can have your kindle versions 'read' but (as far as I know) this is pretty monotone.

No, you don’t get the kindle book when you buy the audible book, though often when you buy a kindle book there’s the option to add narration for a small charge.

when someone buys the rights to something, they buy it for a specific format (eg the movie rights to a book) so audible doesn’t own the right to sell/give you a written version of the book, just the narrated or dramatised content you buy.

Yes I think this confirms what I thought and that they're two totally separate things as a rule

Thanks all

If you buy the kindle book first there's often a discount on the audible book

You often get the option to add the audible version for £3.99 when you buy the kindle version.
