Just wondered if it might be a bit tricky?

@Yoyoyo1 depends on the 7yo I guess. God daughters were about 4 when they started playing with us with any kind of 'game play' before that they just caused chaos!! 😂 by 7 they played a semi decent game.

My six year old grandson loves Rummikub. We let him start laying his tiles straight away without having to make 30 like the adults!

What is point of the 30 rule, btw? Apart from pissing off the players who have an unlucky hand.
It's very boring having to sit there not-playing whilst everyone else gets on with it.Sad

Absolutely fine for a 7 year old, I love Rummikub!

Yup - ditch the 30-to-start rule and it’s fine for that age.

Like pp say, it’s boring anyway.

Have often played it with that age and they loved it. Straight to play though though

My 7 yr old here plays it. We originally got Rummikub jnr from a charity shop and that might have helped them learn the ideas, but it got too easy too quickly.

My almost 7 year old has been playing for a good couple of years. We let him go straight away without making 30 too. He is now pretty good at switching things round on the table to make them work for him.

I like the 30 point rule. It means you build a lovely mix of loads of cards, and then when you can go, you get to put loads down quite quickly. Especially if playing with more than two people who have put things down. It's very satisfying 😂

Ahh thank you!

Great for that age I’d say.
