Now my boys are teens (13 and 14- or at least will be by the time August is here) I am starting to think about what to do during the long summer break. I'm not sure about you, but I begrudge having to spend time on an over priced holiday parks bored with the same old tired attractions (arcade, pools ands water slides that you have to queue for ages to use, and show bars with 'talent' competitions)
While that kind of holiday might have been fun while the kids were smaller, I am not after something more adverturous and active in which the kids can do something meaningful, and which doesn't cost the earth.
Does anyone know of any clubs, organisations or societies which may offer something like this?
Thanks
