Mon-Thurs 3 nights so not too expensive per night !

Near Westminster (or easy tube ride) as Year 12 ds has work experience with MP.
He is staying with adult dd, so ideally twin room (she will sight see whilst he is at 'work').

I'd like it to be a treat for their birthdays, but in reality budget is £300/night.

Have looked at Premier Inn but that is booked for the dates.
They will arrive and leave by train at Kings Cross.

Have you looked at the hub by premier inn brand? St James and Westminster would both be spot on.

Yes booked (10th-14th). I don't mind spending more for a joint birthday treat, but not for basic.

I think its the crowne plaza at Westminster that is v nice and rooms are about that. Or we have stayed at the hilton in Kensington which was nice but I would go for a room grade above the basic one.

Covent Garden Travelodge, or Copthorne Tara Kensington might be worth looking at.

The Hilton Westminster curio is the old city inn and is about 5 minutes walk from the Houses of Parliament. Will be less than £300 typically. Nearest tube is Pimlico

There is a cheap IHG in pimlico - holiday inn express Victoria which is basic but ok

The one mentioned above- the park plaza riverbank is a good location

If you want to splurge the Trafalgar which is a Hilton in Trafalgar square or the Conrad St James are very nice.

Tube from Kings Cross to Pimlico takes about 20 minutes

Sorry, park.plaza. although a friend stayed at crown plaza and said it was fine.

Hampton Inn at Waterloo is a short walk
As is the park plaza Waterloo and the county hall park plaza- both straight across the bridge
There is a premier inn there was well but often more expensive than a full hotel

Portillo · 13/03/2023 22:55

Park Plaza London Waterloo is £244 for a twin room- good location and a nice hotel.

😊 Thank you
