Has anyone any experience with these? Apparently they are self build. They have good reviews but just wondered if anyone has used them? TIA

We do. Sorted our storage issues out, gave us a huge sofa bed and a sofa that is still pretty comfy after 5y. Downside is the foam cushions gradually collapse and the base ones are a lot of £ to replace. I wish the backs were higher and miss not having a high back. I ended up covering it all with fleece throws as the material we chose was quite rough. DH still really likes it.

Don't google them unless you want to have ads popping up for months. I think they're related to penguin bollards.

🤣 thanks!
It's the low backs that are putting me off to be honest.

We do - it’s an ordinary sofa not a sofa bed and isn’t our main sofa iuswim. Must be 10 years old and is still really comfy. Storage is great. We do have a throw on it but that’s for the dogs as they lounge on it too.

Thanks, how easy was it to build?

I do! I have the three seater with chaise longue bit on one side. I chose the option to have them build it for me so cant really comment on that, it looked fairly easy but the thing is really heavy so would need two of you maybe.

Three years later and I honestly regret my purchase and will be replacing as soon as possible. I went for the leather and the seats are cracked and ripped already. Its quite a big size as well, so even though I only have a three seater
it takes up so much unnecessary space as its quite deep.

Also, just remembered the company fucked up my delivery date and postponed it multiple times over a few weeks.

We've got one. It is our main sofa. Is a godsend as we have tiny narrow hallways which you couldn't get a prebuilt sofa through.

Re building, the first time took ages. But we've moved house once, and dismantled and reassembled it at least 3 times in the 5 years we've had it. It's still going strong and is still really comfy to sit on. The lower back doesn't bother us and we got fabric which has held our really well.

We've also had people sleep on it and no complaints. Our friend liked it so much he bought one when he moved and we helped him assemble his too, gets much quicker with practise.

Only complaint is once assembled its heavy so hard to move to clean behind.
