How many of you have been affected by the junior doctors strikes?

what do you think should be a reasonable wage per hour for doctors?

It’s a totally reasonable question to ask given there’s been 3 days of significant disruption. One of my relatives was due to have an operation which has now been cancelled. We’re all feeling pretty distraught

Not personally as far as I know. Family members are waiting for specific surgeries so not sure if there will a slight delay in these but already a long wait.

But where I work at the GP surgery there were fewer appointments today because the trainees were on strike.

My dad had a prostate surgery delayed by a week. I don't think the strikes make much of a difference compared to how the NHS has been over the past few years. My aunty has been waiting for a hysterectomy for 2 years with multiple delays and that was before the strikes.

Nope. I got into see my doctor yesterday afternoon when I rang at 1pm. I'm seeing a consultant this Friday. My dad is getting a couple of operations done in the next month and there have been no cancellations or postponements.

No. None of the health service strikes have affected me because I have stayed healthy

I think what they are asking for is reasonable which is £19/hr starting wage from £14/hr. I don't think they expect the increase in one year as well. It's tough because everyone is striking.

Hi, due to this strike my IVF was interrupted and cancelled (I was on medication and having injections for stimulation). I feel devastated.
