What is this black thing on my chicken?

Took these quarter chicken out of the freezer a day and a half ago, had kept in the fridge and just noticed this. What is it?

Bumblefoot? Just googled it.

Bumble foot tends to occur on the base of the foot. Looks like the marrow has oxidised.
