Nintendo Switch 2 player game suggestions please.

We're buying DS a Switch for his birthday and I'm after recommendations for 2 player games that would be suitable for him and DD to play together please. He'll be 11 & she's 6.
Any suggestions gratefully recieved. Thanks in advance.

My DC with a 4 year age gap enjoyed playing Mario Party together. There are lots of different games within it. Mario Kart also.
We've also played as a family, if you get a spare set of joycons- you can play with just one of the controllers each. Overcooked was good too, though we adults weren't that great at it!

I was going to say Mario Kart, too. Overcooked is a great one but I can't imagine the 6 year old being able to do it.

She should be able to manage some of the Switch Sports games

My dc enjoy mariokart, the Lego games - particularly Lego Harry Potter and Lego city. Overcooked is a good family game but can get a little frantic!

Mario party is amazing we all play it as a family and mario carts is great!

I have a six year old and a nine year old and we regularly all play the party games together - its a good use of family time when the weather is poor!

Mario Party is good, so is Rabbids Party and Mario Kart. We also like Overcooked, Moving Out and there's another one with renovations I can't think of the name of. And we literally just downloaded Move or Die which got lots of giggles yesterday.
