Pregnancy after miscarriage

Has anyone fallen pregnant within the first month after a miscarriage and successfully carried full term.

I'm so nervous after reading people have multiple miscarriages sometimes after having a first one. I was 7 weeks when I had a miscarriage and so nervous about future cycles etc.

Any experiences/advice is much appreciated

Many Thanks 😊

I got pregnant the first cycle after my mc (also at 7 weeks). Absolutely textbook normal pregnancy and straightforward birth (and I was nearly 40). Sometimes it's just one of those things sadly and it doesn't necessarily mean that anything is 'wrong'. Sorry to hear about your mc, but sending you good vibes for all that's next.

Please someone help -

I found out I was pregnant 4 weeks ago, I worked out I should be around 6 weeks, I went for a scan as was unsure of dates and they said they couldn’t see anything. My HCG was going down so they told me the pregnancy was not viable and a week later I bled, not too heavily but there were clots. I carried on testing until I got a negative and tried to move on. Two weeks later I took a test as felt a little off and it was blazing positive!! What could have happened? I have only had sex twice since this positive and that was before I miscarried (bled). Surely it can’t be a new pregnancy!? I’ve got a scan next Monday but until then I’m beside myself with worry. A molar pregnancy was mentioned on my first scan as I had what they called “cystic spaces” but then this was shut down due to my hcg being so low, 250 beta, then 128, then 57.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? And had any kind of happy outcome? I’m meant to be going away to Spain for my 30th today and it’s all I can think about, not to mention I’ve got a feeling my partner is going to propose after 3 years together and I just don’t feel I can be happy about anything right now 😪

Hi I hope you don’t mind me joining in this conversation, I had a miscarriage last week I was 6 weeks, 3 days and I was wondering what are yours thoughts about trying again in a couple of weeks. I was advised to wait until I have my next period but I really don’t want to wait until then. Xx

@Moonsparkle123 I am in the same position and really keen to try again asap but planning to at least wait until I have a negative test to avoid ending up in a position where I have a positive test but don't know if it's a new pregnancy (like the lady above!)

Moonsparkle123 · 17/03/2023 13:33

leggingsandasweatshirt- I went to the early pregnancy unit and they confirmed I had a negative test and I did a digital one at home. Maybe contact the early pregnancy unit and they can confirm with you?

@Moonsparkle123 ah sorry I see. I had 2 scans at EPU and the consultant said to give it 3 weeks then do a test at home. I am a pee on a stick lunatic so already done one after a week 😂🙈 and still positive for now - but as soon as I get the negative I am going to start trying again

Moonsparkle123 · 17/03/2023 14:31

leggingsandasweatshirt- I hope you get that negative soon and start trying again. I feel nervous but excited to try again. I’m thinking of making some changes no mochas in the morning, take my vitamins and just eat healthy x
