UK break in May

Any ideas of a week's holiday with lots for toddler to do in May in the UK ladies? Have two under two so must be family friendly. Open to anywhere really and any type of accommodation if recommended. Have previously been to Cotswolds and Lake District but also like cities.

@HewasH2O Hadn't thought of IOW. Went as a primary age child and loved it. Is there much for toddlers? Any recommendations for where to stay?

Take a look online at the list of places I listed. Every single one is aimed at teeny weenies. You can go on dinosaur hunts, pet baby calves, dig sandcastles etc.

The Island has accommodation to suit all budgets and styles. Go to a website such a Classic Cottages or Red funnel (the ferry company) for ideas.

Growing up my nan always took me to the same caravan holiday park and I still love it to this day, especially for the kids.. Depends where in UK you're happy to travel, but Whitley Bay Caravan Park is awesome. Have a look online. You get the entertainment passes when you book direct. There's a pool, arcade, soft play, outdoor park, tennis, restaurant and a kids disco nearly every night with adult entertainment following.
It's walking distance to the sea side and a lovely lighthouse. Along the beach you have the usual beachy entertainment, but also ice skating and other fun activities! As a family we all love it.

I definitely agree with the Isle of Wight. It's perfect for holidays with children....you could look at Nodes Point holiday park as it's very family friendly with a pool and a 5 minute walk from a beach (stones rather than sand) with a cafe and some toilets.

Absolutely loads to do with children on the island. We've been loads of times and are hoping to go back this year.
