Appointment times at GP

I have a couple of things booked via the GP and notice some have half hr timeslots and the others ten minutes.

For example a meds review and GP appt requiring some routine tests are half an hr but blood tests ten minutes or a phone appt ten minutes.

I guess this makes sense, has anyone else noticed they now have half hr appt slots?

No but it's a good idea.

DH had a medication review by phone from a pharmacist which was organised by his GP.

It took about 20 mins and they booked the call so he was ready with questions.

He was most impressed.

It makes sense that some things will take longer to discuss.

Maybe they factor in writing up time also.

Yes it is the pharmacist who is calling me too about the medication review.
