Looking for a range of ideas for a gift. Not for me, for my own Mum.

Some nice flowers. Or a homemade cake.

I just got my mam a little picnic backpack, with the promise of walks and picnics with the bairns as the weather clears 🥰

Flowers, always flowers!

TBH I just like going out for a meal, or having a day out somewhere. DS's are both teens/young adults and time all together seems to not really exist

A bunch of flowers and some M&S walnut whips.

We're taking my mum out for Sunday lunch, and I've bought her a jigsaw that she said she liked. My kids will get her a bunch of flowers.

Some simple earrings I can wear everyday

Lillies and some cupcakes

Limoncello and maltesers

tea and toast in bed made by DC
a card DC made at school
some peace and quiet
maybe some flowers

at least 2 of these things won’t happen 😂

for my own mum, me and my sisters will club in and get my mum some flowers and one of my sisters is baking a cake. We’ll go and spend the afternoon with her.

I've bought my Mum the ancestry DNA kit (a bit of a splash but she has been amazing) and the Montalbano book she is missing.

What would she like is surely the place to start. It is no point us commenting what we would like or do you mean ideas that are a bit different or offers that are around?

Does she definitely want something? My mum would, presents are really important to her.

But I wouldn't want anything from my children, I absolutely don't see the point of it.

If I want flowers, I buy them whenever I feel like it. And I dislike overly sweet things, so an afternoon tea would not be at all enjoyable.

You need to go with what suits the person, not what naff things are expected for Mothering Sunday.

Flowers. And a cup of tea with my adult dc.

A full body massage. I'm 7 months pregnant and exhausted already!

Nothing! Not keen on this one. My husband isn't keen in father's Day either so it makes it easier.

Just a card. Maybe flowers.

Day out to country park or beach for a wander

I'm getting my mum a kindle as hers is about to break. I'll choose a nice case for it too and take her out for afternoon tea.
