Can I shower if I have a 7 day ECG

I am due to have a 7 day ECG through the NHS. I'm wondering if anyone has had one before.

Will I be able to remove the pads, shower and then put them back on?

When I had a 24 hour one they told me not too remove them, or too exercise because of sweat.

I have googled it but can't find a definitive answer.

Thank you

Yes.
I had one recently and they give you spare stickers to remove and replace the wires. I took a photo to make sure I got them right.

As above. They gave me additional stickers and instructions for showering. It had to be a very quick if I recall correctly.

That's great. Thanks so much. What a relief!

I had one recently too and it wasn't one I could remove, instead they suggested buying some waterproof dressing and have a very quick shower. (I opted for having baths without submerging it instead)

@Woopdee ok that's good to know, thank you. I hope I don't have this one 😣

I had one with sticky pads and they gave me extras so I could stick it back on after a shower. Just make sure you're thoroughly dry though.
