'Existential threat' to British tech firms after collapse of US bank

I've been reading that the collapse of this bank could lead to a bank run in America and us bailing out banks over here. Do others more knowledgeable about finance than me think this is likely?

in short no, because both economies are very much more diverse with huge number of other investors than that bank.

A tech start-up bank is very different to a bank holding some peoples' savings as liabilities and others houses as assets.

Anyway, there is no more money in the kitty.

No this is quite a niche bank it shouldn’t trigger wider problems. Some people are claiming it will because they want to be bailed out.

Even if a bank run starts, the central banks will help out and the bank themselves have measures in place to limit a run. And depending on if the bank is to big to fail, it could be bailed out by other banks or the govt
