How do you deal with insanely itchy leg veins?

My legs are driving me nuts. It's the vein that runs over the front of the leg, just below the knee. Yesterday the back of my calves were throbbing with discomfort. I really need to do something to improve my veins, they itch like hell.

Boring things I'm afraid

Supplements such as the ones attached
More water
Lose weight
Exercise
Keep skin moisturised (thin skin on legs can lead to problems later)
Avoid alcohol salt and cholesterol
Eat veg
Foot massager (no idea if this helps but I'd like to think it does)

Grandma and mum suffered with poor leg health. It can lead to phlebitis, cellulitis, leg ulcers odema. I can also be a sign of problems with peripheral veins.

It depends on lots of factors, age weight, medical history, family history and co morbidities so you really need TK see HCP for a routine appointment (if you can get on in the next two weeks)

Would an antihistamine work?

Eurax cream is great for itching

This and consider compression socks.
