Can anyone help decipher this name...?

I would say it's Herrat.

The writer dots all other "i"s otherwise I'd say Hirrat. Hirrat is a known name where I am in Scotland.

coffeecupsandwaxmelts · 11/03/2023 23:32

I don't think it begins with an H because the first name is David Hutton and the first letter of the underlined word looks very different.

AinmÁlainn · 11/03/2023 23:34

Herrab?

I thought it said Hersat but the 3rd letter I’m not sure about

coffeecupsandwaxmelts · 11/03/2023 23:37

I would say Kersal.

The first letter looks nothing like the H used in the two "Huttons" above it.

JMSA · 11/03/2023 23:38

Heerat?

YaWeeSkitter · 11/03/2023 23:40

Going by the e at the end of 'engine' and the r in Erskine I would also say it is Herrat

user143677435 · 11/03/2023 23:40

Henat?

PacificallyRequested · 11/03/2023 23:41

Hewat?

greenspaces4peace · 11/03/2023 23:41

Herrab
definitely starts with an H
i don't think it ends with a t, when i write script i pick up my pen to cross the t, and if you notice the other t's the flow stops and picks up again to cross. i'm fairly certain it ends with AB

AdoraBell · 11/03/2023 23:43

Looks like Herat to me.

PacificallyRequested · 11/03/2023 23:43

Actually, the first letter looks a bit like the J in James in the column to the right, but I can't think what the other letters could be if the name starts with J.

LilylilyDaisy · 11/03/2023 23:45

I'd go with Hurat?

LilylilyDaisy · 11/03/2023 23:46

Or Hurrat, it's difficult to tell between Herrat and Hurat.

PlateBilledDuckyPerson · 11/03/2023 23:47

Nessal?

BoatsAndHoes · 11/03/2023 23:49

I was thinking Herrot/Herrat but it's not a name I've come across before.

OP posts:
Sugarfree23 · 11/03/2023 23:49

I don't think it starts with an H. The first letter looks nothing like the H in Hutton or the Hogg under it.

It's possibly a K but if you have more than just that extract I'd go through the other words until you find another capital thar looks the same.

zen1 · 11/03/2023 23:53

I also thought Henat

greenspaces4peace · 11/03/2023 23:59

Hurab?

NotInGuatemalaNowDrRopata · 12/03/2023 00:01

I thought Herrat at first but the H is too different from all the others. I'm thinking Kerrat now.

NotInGuatemalaNowDrRopata · 12/03/2023 00:03

....or could it be Kerrab? The last letter doesn't look like previous "t"s

OhDN · 12/03/2023 00:04

Heurat

SlightlyJaded · 12/03/2023 00:05

The last letter is the same as the last letter of George Aino(t?) one line down and one line to the right. I think is a T - so Herat or Henat.

passthegingordon · 12/03/2023 00:06

It's Heuat.

caringcarer · 12/03/2023 00:06

Looks like Hasak to me. I do the same little s myself.
