Looking for film noir suggestions

I've recently watched a couple of noir movies (The Big Sleep, In A Lonely Place) after reading the novels they were based on. Absolutely loved them and looking to see if anyone can make recommendations on some other good ones to look out for. I'd say I'm more keen on 1930s/40s films but if there are more modern but really good examples of the genre they're more than welcome too, thanks!

Ooh there are so many! To start -
Double Indemnity
Sunset Boulevard
The Postman Always Rings Twice
Nightmare Alley (1947 one and then the remake from 2021 perhaps, which is also decent).

Google Robert Mitchum films. He was excellent in these

You might enjoy neo noirs like Chinatown, or more recent examples like bad times at the el royale, under the silver lake, Drive, Good Time. Worth adding to your list for when you’ve ticked off the 30s/40s

The Maltese Falcon

Most of my favourites have already been suggested! I'd add Mildred Pierce (1945, not the TV version)

Thanks everyone for the recommendations, I've added them to my watch list.
