Costco

I'm going to Costco / I haven't been for years. Anything I should buy?

Brownie mix.
Toilet roll.
Water.
That massive bag of dinner rolls.
A canoe.
Dishwasher tabs.
Margarita mix.
A sledge.
Magnums.
A bike shed.
Tinned tomatoes.

They do a few amazing chopped salad bags in the weird room of veg in mine. Chopped leaves and veg with packets of croutons, dressing, nuts etc to add and mix in…

also cases of vina sol!

Macarons
Enchiladas
Garlic
Salt and chilli pork belly
Huge box of breakfast pastries
Big tub of flumps

They do the most delicious broccoli salad, stay with me, its honestly so nice!!!!

Costco is like IKEA. You just know you’ll come out with a trolley load of stuff you never intended on buying.

We went last week and only came away with floss harps.

We did also use the petrol station.

Is Costco really worth it? My nearest one is an hour's drive away and it costs (last time I looked) roughly £100 to join.

I currently shop at a mix of Lidl and Waitrose and would be interested to know if Costco is worth it if you're not very near it.

I also enjoy looking through the books section - lots of good books normally for children and adults.

So much so very much…
I go at least twice a week, it’s my go to grocery store for; cheese, eggs, milk, coffee, dh clothes all my pantry dry good. Oh I particularly like their olive oil and their balsamic vinegar.

The most expensive membership is about £35.

Ours is 20 minutes away so we find it's worth it, it would be even better if ours had a petrol station!

You do have to be careful though as lots of stuff is more expensive than normal shops, you can get carried away to begin with but once you get the know what's what it's easy to save a lot of money.

Chicken nuggets, trust me, they are not just for kids!

Frozen pasties. Kirkland kitchen roll. Frozen steak burgers. Chicken Tenders. I stock up on Lavazzo coffee beans.
The takeaway pizza deal £15 for a huge garlic bread and huge pizza and bottle of pop.
