How to replicate this feeling?

Today my energy is high, I'm positive. I can tackle every issue and rule the world. I am around 10 days into my cycle I think. Give or take a few. It won't last. I'll end up fatigued, riddled with anxiety and self doubt, and irritable.

What is my dominate hormone? Oestrogen and serotonin? I'm 45. The contrast is getting worse. I am two different people. Is there anything I can take to replicate this high energy feeling?

No clue 😩 But if you find the answer I'll pay good money for it 🤷‍♀️

I feel like this after a run/jog of 6-8km. Especially on the seafront.

Maybe HRT?

WinterMusings · 11/03/2023 11:38

no idea. Tell us when you find the answer!!

In the meantime, don't waste it in here! Go do something fun or productive!!

A little cocaine mixed with ecstasy?

That or a period of eating well, little booze, little stress and a few really good nights of sleep. Make the most of it!

Dopamine?

Same here, although I’ve hit the down side of my cycle (which is completely random these days). I love the high energy feeling oestrogen gives me but mine is rapidly diminishing…

adamandeta · 11/03/2023 11:51

i agree that doing a run at 4 miles+ makes you feel like this. My mood definitely takes a downward trajectory when I’ve not done it for a couple of days.

LuciferRising · 11/03/2023 11:52

I eat healthy and exercise. Exercise is a mental battle on the downward slope.
