It's none of my business, I'm not going to "do" anything but they're still your DC no matter how old and it doesn't stop you thinking about them and pondering.
He's had a very serious girlfriend for more than 2 years. He let all his friends go and hasn't been anywhere without her since very early on in the relationship. They had a couple of moments in the first few moths when they almost split and I had him sobbing in my arms. (Most out of character for him, I don't usually get a hug on my birthday!)
Anyway last weekend he text "BTW we've split, but I'm fine honestly". Then he went into work on his day off to help someone out.
He does indeed appear to be fine. Apparently they just decided they weren't as happy as they thought and it's all very amicable. This seems odd to me. Even if it has just fizzled out, isn't it still a bit sad?
All of a sudden he has friends again. He's been out late a couple of evening and last night he has "crashed" at a friend's. I don't know these people, they're not his old friends, I'm told colleagues, but they don't seem to have names!
He's 22. As I say nowt to do with me, but im feeling curious.
