Little dish kids meals. 250g to 200g new oval shaped dish. 50p more expensive and they were already expensive!!

I'm not greedy (honest) but old style fun sized chocolate bars sold as full size bulked out in multi packs with lots of packaging.

Yes, only a few crisps in a bag and not just Monster Munch. Though MM don't taste the same now anyway.

Cadbury's creme eggs used to have 240kcals now 170. I bought two chicken breasts the other day - it looked more like 1 1/2.

It is disgusting. I don't know why this is allowed to happen. Why isn't there some sort of enquiry? These supermarkets are taking the pee. Also some of their staff have to have their money supplemented by tax credits etc. Who pays for that? If they paid s decent wage then this would not be necessary.

McVities digestives and chocolate digestives are really thin now and the choc ones a smaller diameter! Not to mention fewer in the packet too x

OhYouBadBadKitten · 10/03/2023 15:53

Soon they will sell us empty packaging with essence of what used to be contained within.

BCBird · 10/03/2023 15:54

Something I used to buy has gone up from 98p to £1.30 and is now £1.70. Ridiculous.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at how true this is!

BlastedPimples · 10/03/2023 16:08

@OhYouBadBadKitten yes. You will be able to open the bag, inhale the scent and remember how those chocolate eggs used to taste.

I'm getting fed up with it now. I know treat food isn't essential but it's ALL food. I've noticed squash is being marketed as "4x concentrated" but isn't any different to squash of old. Just increased price for lower volume.

Also Robinson's bulking out squash with cheaper fruits. Peach had more oranges in than peaches last I looked.
