Could anyone tell me how to remove a person from Whatsapp?

In simple terms as am not very techy!
It's not someone from a Whatsapp group...
It's just one individual person . They are blocked but I just don't want to see
their face every time I scroll down Whatsapp..

Delete them from your normal contacts then they will disappear from WhatsApp.

Yes, just delete them as a contact and then delete any messages if you have had contact with them.

hmmm. they have disappeared but it says 'Archived'. Is this the same thing? But I guess as they are blocked they can't message anyway. And now I cannot see them

What does it mean 'their contact'. Their photo?

Instead of archiving the chat delete it then it's gone.

Then delete their contact details in your contacts on your phone.

You need to then swipe left in their archived message to delete the chat, and then it/their picture will be permanently gone

Delete their phone number from your phone and delete the conversation (by holding it down then selecting delete)

Hold down their face until you get a tick, then press the bin at the top of the screen

If all you've done is delete the entire Whats App conversation then, no, unless they did the same they can still see the conversation.
