Another driving related anxiety of mine question.. or more of a should I just relax and forget it and try stop my intrusive thoughts whilst driving..

Today I was driving to work and on my way to work see a bin lorry parked up putting bins in the back etc. A bus and a car infront of me go past it but as I go to follow I stay back and see cars coming opposite direction so I stay behind the lorry. I then started getting thoughts that am I too close to the lorry as the men were loading the lorry up I felt pretty close to them? I would have left around a cars length distance between me and the back of the lorry so I can see around the lorry still …
I know these lorries have CCTV on them and report near misses.. is being too close to them a near miss ( obviously I wasn’t touching them with my car close) or is this more for when people literally have no patience and go on pavements etc and nearly hit them?
I get intrusive thoughts a lot driving so if anybody has any techniques or advice I’d be very appreciative! ☺️
