Hello, I run my own creative wedding business which after a few very busy years with covid catch up is now in a bit of a slump with low budgets and being under-priced. I also now have my 13yr old son at home while he deals with severe anxiety in the middle of an ASD assessment pathway.
I am a single parent with no financial support from ex and I am starting to feel like getting a part time job would ease the worry and pressure of my cash flow. My wedding work is very intense in short bursts and I think something part time alongside would be ideal.
I have a degree in Design Marketing, experience in marketing, branding, copywriting, proof reading etc. I have often thought about changing career into something a bit more fulfilling such as therapy or some sort of healthcare however I presume there would be a significant training period and honestly the need for work is quite urgent.
I would happily do administrative work, data entry, some sort of customer service (though not sales) - very open really.
I would be looking for part time/flexible work ideally from home (have an office and good wifi etc).
I have googled a bit, looked into flexible/WFH careers but am not really coming up trumps.
Any suggestions, ideas, advice on sectors to look at, good websites with vacancies etc would be so appreciated - thank you in advance.
