Ventusky. Best interactive map which you can see every type of weather pattern across the world. The website is better than the app.

BBC weather - but looking to change.

BBC weather, but my husband, who flies has more accurate apps so keep meaning to switch to one of those.

I was sitting in the car, watching the rain hit the windscreen and on one weather app it said "....no precipitation." 🙄

I find the Norwegian Met office is the most accurate
www.yr.no/en

and I like windy.com, for the fun of it.

Met Office, though at the end of the day in certain a situations (sunshine and showers!) none of the apps will ever be spot on. I like the text and video forecast on the met office app.

Listening to a radio programme recently, one caller said that if you google a well known golf club website local to the area you want information on, it gives the best info as much of their income is dependent on weather conditions ie. visitors wanting to play.

As far as weather sites/apps go, it depends on your location and what kind of weather data you're looking for. That being said, have you checked out https://www.worldweatheronline.com/weather-api/ ? They offer a weather API that you can integrate with various apps and services, which is pretty cool. Their API provides weather data for many locations, including hourly forecasts, which is what you're looking for. They offer various data points such as temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind speed, direction, and many more. Their documentation is pretty detailed and easy to follow, so it should be relatively easy to get started.

I use Met Office over BBC now; its more accurate but can occasionally be incorrect about a shower.
