You know when you don’t know how you’re going to get through the day?

That’s me at the moment. I know I will and hopefully I’ll have some supportive posts, but I’m dreading it. Toddlers been up since 430, is currently bringing every toy from one room into another so it’s a tip. My back has gone and I am in agony. And it’s not even half seven 😫😫

What sort of things do you have to do today? We might be able to suggest ways of doing them more easily.

Mostly just caring for very energetic toddler. And it’s snowing heavily. We have a group this morning but even getting him in the car seat will be a struggle, hoping DH might be able to help with that.

If there's heavy snow, is it the best idea to go out? Could you give the group a miss? Would your toddler watch TV for a bit so you could just rest on the sofa?

Could you not just waterproof toddler up and have an hour playing in the snow, followed by warm fun bath, hot chocolate, film.

If you have a bad back it's ok to have a chilled day and not fell obliged to "do" anything.

We are at teenage stage, school, no days to just be. I do miss those days.

Problem is he won’t @PlaitBilledDuckyPuss - he’s already had more screen time than is ideal but unsure what else to do when he wakes so early! He’ll just start getting restless and taking toys out and strewing them round the house!

@MrNook i know, was literally having it on at 530! But he wouldn’t watch all day.
