Male nursery worker leaving….gift?

A male nursery worker is leaving next week from my child’s nursery.
He is my child’s key worker.
what shall I buy him? I was thinking a card and a £10 costa gift….is that okay? Do I get more? Do I get something else instead?

DS is a teacher and prefers gift cards plus a homemade card. Maybe you could write a short letter of appreciation too.

We did a gift card when DD's keyworker left. We tried to link it to personal interests we knew of but if in doubt do Amazon.
