Secondary school - RGS Guildford

Hi mums,
DS has an offer from RGS Guildford for Year 7 entry this year. We are very keen on accepting the offer and would like to know from other parents who are considering RGS or any reviews they would like to share. That said, we will have to look for a house around that area, preferably closer to school or with a short commute. Any ideas on which areas to target? Thanks.

Yes, we did. We too heard all good things .. house hunting is on now :)

Re: house- it depends on your budget and what you need for a house. Are you looking for walking distance or could ds catch a train?

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, we have put an offer on a property and really hope the exchange happens in August. DS will have to catch a 10 mins bus after a 5 mins walk. We initially thought to rent a property but the rental market in Guildford is crazy. Houses get booked before you even go for viewings. Let's see how soon we can move in.
