Hi all,
Little man is now 3 days old and I am trying to breastfeed him.
He latches straight on and I do seem to have lots of colostrum which is good.
However…. His little mouth is so so tiny and so despite my best efforts and trying different positions, it really is impossible to get any of the actual areola into his mouth, it is literally just the tip of the nipple that fits in.
Therefore he chomps down on the tip of the nipple making it extremely painful.
I just wondered if anyone has any tips at all?
