Mine was I met someone on holiday in place A and had conversations several times during the week.

Fast forward 6 months and I got talking to someone on another holiday in place b and thought I know them but wasn’t sure where from, but not from that holiday or home but it turns out it was from holiday A.

These are fascinating. Mine are just I often say things that are then said on the TV or radio straight after. Or can read it straight after I've said it. Sounds mad but even dh comments on how often it happens 🤔 It's not pleasant tbh.

Weird. I've just wrote the same thing then read yours 😂😂😂😂

My dad was a hobby artist - he liked sketching beautiful views and dabbling in watercolours.

When he died, having never expressed a view or preference about burial or cremation, mum and I had to go with our feelings and work out what to do about the funeral. We decided on burial in a newly created eco-burial ground, and found a lovely spot for him in front of a duck pond with a beautiful view of the South Downs.

A few weeks later, flicking through his sketch books, we found a completely beautiful 20 year old sketch of the duck pond and that perfect view of the South Downs, made from the exact spot we chose to bury him in.

He’d thought that view beautiful enough to spend an afternoon sketching. It was the right place for him to end up.

🥲 Amazing.

I grew up in a village in Scotland. I have lived in Glasgow for a decade and nobody here has ever heard of it.

Three years ago, my DH inherited a house in Glasgow on [Village Name] Street. Even weirder, despite being on opposite sides of the country, Village Name Street and Village share the same numbers in their postcodes. For example, AA41 and BB41.

Then a couple of weeks ago I phoned a company hundreds of miles away and had to give my address. I'm used to people being unfamiliar with Village Name Street so I asked the sales assistant if they wanted me to spell it and they said no need, they grew up in Village!

Partner has the same age gap with me as my mum and dad have. Dad being older, mum being the younger one. Me being younger and partner being the older one.

Not so unusual no?

We stayed on a Canadian island where it was common to hitch hike. We walked the long distance from our cabin to the restaurant, and DH admired a gold Mustang outside. We got chatting to the waitress and it turned out she was originally from the same small town in northern England as DH. A few minutes into our walk back we heard a car approaching behind us so thought we'd try hitching a lift... the car pulled over for us and it was the Mustang from the restaurant, driven by the waitress.
