New relationship anxiety

Newish relationship and we've both expressed how happy we're feeling, the chemistry is amazing. For the first time I've seen no red flags yet and so far he makes me feel really good about myself.

But why am I so anxious about it all? I always feel like this at the start. Any advice please? Thanks.

Maybe because my period is due?!
Is it best to talk to a new man about feeling anxious? Really don't want to come across as needy!

No, don't talk to a new boyfriend about being anxious. It's honestly such a turn off and all it does is highlight neediness which is never an endearing quality that anyone is looking for in a new partner

Just try and keep it to yourself and just enjoy getting to know him. If it's right, it'll work out and be nice and easy. If it's not right, you being a bit clingy won't change things

So, in short, don't raise red flags yourself

@BatFaceOwl thank you for the advice, think you're right.

@Notaboutthebass did things work out for you since your post?

@ThisIsaNiceDress yes! Thank you for asking.
We're really strong and he's amazing. I out it down to hormones and the normal anxiety that I find in the beginning. He's so supportive and understanding and he'd rather I talk about things with him.
That anxious feeling about the relationship stopped a whole ago and I'm so much more relaxed now.
Are you having the same feelings in your relationship?
