Sometimes something happens that triggers the memory of a dream I had. So far, nothing out of the ordinary. However two things then happen:

• I can have a 'look around' the place in my dream i.e. if it's a city, I can look left, and right, up and down, as if I were still in the dream. I am guessing that's because I looked around in the dream and I'm just remembering what I 'saw'

• I can't remember whether the dream is 'new' or old, because it feels old, like I had that dream ages ago, but I'm not sure why. Could it be because it was a dream and therefore it doesn't feel like something recent?

Anyone else?

Yes. I have a few recurring g dreams, though they’ve not happened in a while. Were most active in the years following dp’s sudden death. I can see around the dream as you describe.
One I didn’t like was finding rooms I didn’t know existed in a big house that belonged or had belonged to my grandmother —- she died in the 60s.
