You need an upstairs stash of biscuits cuts out the wondering a nd and the need to go downstairs.

There are some m&m biscuits on the table but you can’t have them, they’re for next weeks holiday.

I don’t need an app. I eat mine as soon as I buy them. An app wouldn’t tell me anything I don’t know!

It won't help right now tonight but fir the future have you considered installing a tiny webcam in your cupboard? The sort used in bird boxes to observe nesting/hatching?

Rookie error, you need an emergency stash of goodies upstairs in your bedroom for just this type of occasion (she says trying not to look at the bottom drawer where the dark chocolate is stashed under the scratchy sweaters)

There must be a comparable product for biscuit tins?

I've just taken the last white chocolate chip cookie but there are two bags of oat and raisin (don't blame me, it's DH), some shortbread and whatever "morning biscuits" are because they were a substitute from the last delivery we had from the local shop.

Oh and there's some hot cross buns but I know they're not biscuits, they're just in the snack drawer too. As are a multipack of discos but someone 😇 ate all the salt and vinegar ones already.

Having got up this morning and ventured downstairs to make coffee, I could check the offending cupboard. And indeed there are no biscuits left. But an app would've told me there was an adequate coffee cake substitution to be made...

We have a shopping list on Google. If I see DH has put chocolate on the list then I know there's none left. It requires buy in from all parties though!

It does, but that requires being in the vicinity of the fridge to operate it.

I can check the milk status from work if needs be with the cameras.
