Good restaurants in Edinburgh

Please could someone recommend some good restaurants in Edinburgh. Not quite thinking fine dining but non-chain places with good quality food - happy with any cuisine.

Three Birds in Bruntsfield is great, neighbourhood-y but excellent food and varied menu. Educated Flea on Broughton St is same owners and same high quality but different chefs and menus.

I like Vittorias on the Walk

If you like Thai my favourite Edinburgh restaurant is Dusit. Definitely need to book though!

Aurora in Leith, fine dining without the price.

Would agree with a lot of this except Tattu & the Witchery.

3 Birds is ace along with their other 2 restaurants, Leftfield is really nice as are Fhior, Little Chartroom, Aizle, l'Escargot Bleu, the Palmerston, First Coast, Locanda di Gusti... Ondine can be hit or miss and I'd give anything that Tom Kitchen is involved with a wide berth.

We went to Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago. Went to a few restaurants, but my favourite was The Voyage of Buck. We got loads of small plates and they were amazing, highly recommend the tacos and the gochujang chicken thighs.
