I'm agog reading that. But I can't be sure if it's true. He says it is. Have you got any idea? How could you ever adjust to life on the outside properly if you'd spent that much time in isolation?

No.

There a huge difference between a single cell, specialist regimes and solitary confinement. He's held 11 people hostage including teachers. He can't have a cellmate because he can't be trusted near them. He's forced the prison service to create a whole new system just to hold him safely and protect others from him.

His lies (many) and inappropriate comments (many) at the parole hearing today demonstrate he's not fit for release and is a continuing risk to people (IMO).

Nope. Not true.

After watching the documentary last week and seeing today he's not covered himself in any glory. I can't see how they dare let him out, imagine the uproar when he did something wrong

There's something very wrong with him, he needs to be in jail.

He’s quite an old man now. He’s become a legend that he now has to live up to so creates incidents in order to stay separated from other younger, stronger more testosteroney men who would like to take him on for the bragging rights. So whilst the early years saw him kept separate much of the time because of the hostage risk he posed to others, nowadays it’s almost more for his protection. There’s nothing the Prison Service would like more than to wave him goodbye but it’s hard to see how he’s equipped for a law abiding and useful life away from the institution.

I cannot even see how he would survive at an open prison let alone out on parole.
