Amazon sell it all !

I've just if checked my high-street makeup products are sold on amazon.... and to my surprise they are ! Same price as high street shop- or a bit cheaper in some cases. I never have to venture into my local town again for these things. Post covid and I'm becoming an introvert. Also found my shampoo on Amazon too, previously only thought Boots sold it.

That is my win of the year so far !

The products that you buy from your local shops are very likely to be genuine, which is more than you can say about products from Amazon.

Amazon employ an incredible amount of people. OP said she normally buys from Boots. Her local Boots branch closing would cost a lot less jobs than her local Amazon distribution centre.

But do watch out for fakes eg some shampoo reviews on there have lots of buyers saying the bottle was genuine but the contents were not. And I bought something ‘silk’ that was clearly polyester.

I don’t buy anything from China or a Chinese name seller, got sick of fake stuff.

Amazon can afford to be the cheapest and quickest because they don't pay their taxes.

My mum had a really serious reaction to a "Clinique" product she bought on Amazon. Looked completely genuine but clearly wasn't.

Choose carefully.

You should support your local Boots if it has a pharmacy - there is a real shortage of pharmacist so there is a risk you will lose yours if everyone thinks the same as you.

I actually find Amazon more expensive for many things vs my local high street & there are certainly toys & beauty products that are not legit on there.

I was sold fake oral b toothbrush heads from Amazon. I queried their authenticity and they refunded without saying a word.
