Today I watched the live sentencing of Wayne Couzens now they allow cameras in court. You couldn't see him (he was on camera in prison) and they only show the judge.
Before today I haven't told anyone that about 20 years ago when I was online and telephone dating, I had a telephone relationship with him. We spoke on a few occasions but thankfully never met.
I realised it was him when he was arrested for poor Sarah's kidnap and murder but didn't say anything.
I don't know why today but I told my husband and my closest friends.
I'm not quite understanding why today I wanted to tell them but all I can think is that it was maybe hearing the testimony from the women read out by the judge in court.
