My Dad is going to have heart bypass surgery.

He has been in hospital over four weeks following a heart attack. Due to catching Covid they couldn’t do it any earlier.

Consider your hand held! I hope all goes well for your dad.

Sending a handhold. I know how this feels. When my granddaughter was a week old she had open heart surgery. It was really traumatic but she made a full recovery. The surgeons and all medical staff involved in her care were just amazing and we are so thank full and grateful.
The people looking after your dad are the too of their game and he is in safe hands. Sending love xx

Sending positive thoughts and vibes to you and your dad. I remember when mine had bypass surgery, the day dragged by and I was a ball of nerves. The surgeons and nurses are bloody amazing though, he will be in very safe hands.

Hand hold from here too. My Dad had a triple bypass 9 years ago, not as a result of a heart attack, but to avoid him having one.

It was quite the recovery period as it's such a massive op, but it gave him a whole new lease of life.

The waiting is tough though.
