Sorry bit of a gross question but we've just had sickness bug in our house and I was wondering.
DD2 (10 months) has brought home two sickness bugs since Christmas and both times they've followed the same pattern in terms of who else has caught it. Is it just a fluke/luck (I know a sample size of two isn't very big), or is it a thing that some people are less susceptible to stomach bugs? Do other people have family members who never catch bugs?
Both times we've had:
DD2 - vomiting, but generally fine and happy.
DH - vomiting and feeling really unwell, in bed for a day
MIL - vomiting and feeling really unwell, in bed for a day
FIL - upset stomach but fairly minor
DD1 (3.5) - not caught it
Me - not caught it
I'm quite surprised not to catch it, given DD's age obviously she makes a mess and I've cleaned up sick, I breastfeed her, and she puts everything in her mouth etc. I have no memory of ever having had a stomach bug though, even as a child.
