Our son who is three goes to a local-ish nursery which is fine just now but improving. We have been offered a place for him at another nursery which is a bit further away but has a brilliant reputation and have to decide whether to accept.
The other Nursery is much bigger - five times the size - but has a lot more activities and works a lot more on learning about different things. It has more outings and better premises. It also feeds into a good primary school.
The one he is at now is more just turn up and play, but he is settled there and new management means there are a lot of ongoing improvements. It also has some problems with the premises which could mean (small chance of) disruption to childcare after summer.
