Premade pastry

I'd like to keep some pastry in the freezer for pie emergencies (aka leftover stew). Both jus-roll and Tesco own-brand are disappointingly bland.
Is there a brand of premade pastry that contains lard and/or butter for flavour and shortness? And where do you buy it?

i use M&S in preference to the two you’ve tried

Pretty sure you can freeze raw pastry you've made yourself, which is likely to taste nicer. (Although to be honest the time taken to defrost any kind of frozen pastry takes it out of true pie emergency territory for me...)
