Hunt for old fashioned chicken pie - help!

I am desperately trying to find a particular pie recipe my late MiL made. It’s her funeral tomorrow and I’m trawling her old cook books trying to find it so I can make it for DH and FiL, but no joy so far.

I know it has poached chicken, broccoli, had a kind of curry taste? She did it in a flan tin but it had a crunchy breadcrumb top as well as a shortcrust base. FIL says she made it with mayonnaise and salad cream… so it’s got to be pretty old fashioned.

does this chime with anyone???

There’s a Coronation Chicken & Potato Pie on the Tesco website if you Google it. Sorry, I couldn’t provide a link but it has a breadcrumb top and sounds similar to what you’ve described.

Rings no bells with me. Is it eaten hot or cold?

I'm very sorry for your loss. What a lovely gesture to try to re-create a favourite dish as a tribute.

Would this be any good? I would imagine it was something on these lines but in a shoetcrust pastry flan base. lifeloveandgoodfood.com/curry-chicken-broccoli-casserole/
