Choosing a holiday

Any advice from someone who enjoys looking for holidays? The thought of trying to find somewhere to go for a week is making me sweat. Me and my partner have not had a foreign holiday in years and would like a cheap week away somewhere, not too far to travel (maximum couple of hours by flight) and cheapish when we are there. Budget of about 600 per person. In September after school holidays. Please let me know of any good websites or the like. Thank you !

What sort of holiday do you want? Beach or city? Active or relaxing? All inclusive or self catering? Lots of options for days out or just stay in the resort?

We're open to most things. Definitely some sun, all inclusive if it's cheaper than having to eat out each day. Some activity as I'd get bored by a pool all day. Would love to explore somewhere and also be able to relax in the sun

Try Tui or Jet2. Corfu is lovely with sun and plenty to do. Paphos in Cyprus also good but bit further to fly.

This is one of those rare situations when I would probably go to a travel agent.

Crete. Not all inclusive but has sun, things to explore and is still hot in September

Thank you all. Crete or corfu sound promising. Also had sort of forgot that travel agents still exist!

I'd go for TUI (or similar). Download the app. Use the search feature to narrow down choices (dates, location, budget etc) and go from there.

Last year my DH and I went away the first week of September. We booked the day before and got 48% off with Tui. We went out on a trip every other day, chilled the in-between day and went for three dinners out. It was an all inclusive resort.
You could just choose a week and book later.
Love holidays is good too.
