What's the code!!

Afternoon all, my DS aged 8 bought a combination padlock from B&Q yesterday.
He decided to change the code this morning and promptly forgot what it is! He is trying to be stoic but we have had some tears (again, he's 8 so a big deal to him).

So, first world problem I know but does anyone have any idea/divine intervention as to what the code could be? 😬

Numbers available are 0-9.

Thank you for any suggestions!

Get him watching some lock picking videos on youtube. My DP can open one of these in under 5 minutes!

Do you really just want people to guess? Just start at zero and work up!

This is simple, if tedious

Start at 0000 and move forward

It'll take an hour, tops

This ^ My teenager can open all types of locks in seconds 🤦‍♀️
(he learnt for fun not for thieving btw 😆).

Would probably just be easier to reset it. You can Google how to do this, but usually involves sticking a small pin in the little hole.
