Posting to get other's experiences as I'm still mad about this this morning..
Ordered food last night as was tired dealing with 15 MO poor sleeping last few weeks. Expected a little wait as Saturday night. Just Eat update to say driver at restaurant, half an hour later he's still there. Finally leaves and I track him to my street. Open door as am starving. See car go hurtling past, turn around, then go hurtling back the other way. Notification pops up - order delivered!! It has not been delivered...
Just eat have no phone contact or live chat so I have to email. Get generic "be patient we are investigating" email. So I call restaurant who say my order is still there waiting and sometimes drivers do get frustrated with the wait and go off in a strop. Advise me to contact just eat to send another driver, which obviously I can't do.
So I tweet customer services but no reply. End my Saturday night out of pocket and hungry with no apparent recourse.
Has anyone else ever had this with just eat? What happened? What did you do? I know it's minor in the grand scheme of things but the cheek of it is just
