Worried baby got Covid

Sorry, need advice and a hand hold so posting in here.

I tested positive for covid 2 days ago, I've felt a bit rough with it but I've been ok. Tested negative this evening.

My 10 month old has been groggy today and has been warm to touch so my DH has tested him and he's positive.

We've rang 111 and got advice which was to keep an eye on him, give him Calpol and make contact if we are worried.

He's currently fallen to sleep but I'm so worried he's going to deteriorate I don't think I will get any sleep tonight.

Has anyone else experienced their baby having covid 😭 was everything ok?

My DD had it at 10 months old in November 2020, she was fine, tiny bit of a runny nose and a few sneezes! Back to herself within 24 hours

It was me that felt rotten, was like I’d been bloody run over

Im sure your baby will be okay, just keep an eye on him, try not to worry x

Keep an eye

Yeah, my toddler had it as a baby. She was fine. Didn’t even think about it being anything different to any of the other illnesses she gets 🤷‍♀️

My baby had it at 4 months and again at 13 months.
Both times had a temp but everything else was like a cold. A lot of snot.
Things that helped were calpol or Nurofen, the calpol diffuser thing you out into the wall and fills the room with vapour, saline nasal spray, olbas oil for kids. Oh and lots of cuddles.

Try not to worry, babies are hardier than we think sometimes x

Thank you for your replies.

I'm feeling like crap because it's me that bought it into the house.

Just hope he will be ok. I had a feeling he'd got it but it hits different when you see it on the test 🙁

My 19 month old (and the rest of us) has had it twice. First time she was a bit miserable for a few days but nothing we couldn't deal with with calpol
Second time she was bouncing round the house with just a bit of a cough (she watched many episodes of mr tumble as her dad and I were struggling with it she was fine)
Hopefully your little one will recover quickly
