Help please mumsnet!

I have a son who will be 10 in 3 weeks.

I've been really busy caring for older relatives and although I've got his main present I'm in desperate need of some smaller gifts!

Can anyone with a 10 year old recommend me some things that have gone down well please?

He's not into any sport but is very tech/geeky into computers and games. He has a switch and we will get a new game for that. He likes magic tricks. He's not particularly arty/crafty. He loves gadgets.

Ideally it needs to be things we can wrap up!

Any ideas please?

Headset? New case for his switch? An Alexa? My son is 9 and I got a case of 4 laser guns where you loose life’s when hit, they went down great with him and the neighbour kids. They’re so hard to buy for at this in between stage I think.

Or how about a tuxedo onsie to perform his magic tricks in?

Any others please mumsnet?

Rubix cubes, air football, ear buds, led lights guiness world book of records, ripleys book and a rounders/ cricket set and new scooter grips have all been hits for mine aged 9 and 11

if he likes magic tricks and doesn’t already have one. A geared or responsive yo-yo - one that has ballbearings so it will do tricks and freespin. A surprising hit for my 11 yr old at Xmas - I’ve had to buy replacement strings it’s had so much use!

Joke book

Smart rubix cube? My son loved his at that age, you can compete for speed online v other players once you've learned to solve it. Or if he can already solve the 3x3, how about the rubix revenge 4x4?
